Length of Talks

Plenary Lecture: 45 minutes (35-min presentation, 10-min Q&A)

Keynote Lecture : 30 minutes (25-min presentation, 5-min Q&A)

Oral Presentation : 15 minutes (12-min presentation, 3-min Q&A)

Before the Session Begins

Locate your session room well in advance.

Arrive at least 10 minutes before the session to meet the speakers.
Confirm the pronunciation of their names. -
A student volunteer will be available to assist speakers with connecting to the projector.

Just before the session starts, briefly introduce yourself to the audience and explain the format and timing of presentations and Q&A.

Running the Session

Start the session on time and ensure presentations stay within the allotted time.

Give presenters a signal when they should begin wrapping up:

11 minutes (Oral)

24 minutes (Keynote)

34 minutes (Plenary)

If a presentation is withdrawn or a speaker does not appear, allow the preceding discussion to continue or pause the session until the next scheduled presentation.

Be prepared with a question to initiate discussion if needed. Ensure all questions are audible to the entire room, repeating them if necessary.
